Remington Model 700 5-R 308WIN Rifle 20" Stainless Threaded 85200 308 5R HS precision stock. has a 20" stainless steel barrel. 5r rifling. 1 in 11.25 twist. The barrel is threaded 5/8x24. has an H-S Precision synthetic stock with full length aluminum bedding. X-Mark Pro Trigger. Has custom muzzle brake.

I don't have an exact round count, but not more than a couple hundred.

Has a couple rub marks on barrel and stock from bipod and pack.

I have one of these and it is an excellent shooter and unusually fast for a 308.

When I last sighted it in before hunting season, I chronoed a couple groups; 178 eldx and 180 fusion were about half moa. On a 60 degree day at 4000 ft I recorded 2538, 2539, 2535 fps for the factory eldx I shot. The cheapo147gr magtech that day was between 2600 and 2753fps. I thought that was pretty decent for such a short barrel.

With the folding chassis they make one hell of a truck or back pack gun too. I just need it to be a magnum and we'd be in business.

Mine really shines with hand loads. It shoots 175 Berger VLDs at 2800 and I've had 168 ABLRs up to 2960.

Nope 20". And I agree that's very salty foe a short barreled .308.
I run RL17 with the 175 Berger and CFE223 with the ABLR.
