Remington 581 .22 w/vintage Weaver scope

For sale: a fairly nice condition Remington 581 .22 cal bolt action rifle. This is the original 581. Not the later 581-S model. Stock has some stock handling and probably more so gun rack/safe marks. Blueing is good and bolt, barrel, and muzzle bluing & crown look great so probably not shot a lot. Comes with the rare original 5 shot clip and a vintage Weaver .22 tip off scope. I shot a few clips thru the rifle and it made a nice bug hole sized group at 35 yards with CCI Quiet ammo. Perfect for vermin eradication or a youngster!

Are there irons for the rifle? Pics do not show the entire rifle so can't see the muzzle.

the front site is there. Someone removed the rear site blade for scope clearance it appears. I did not receive it with the rifle but found some on Ebay and Numeric if needed

These are shooters. At the time the 580, 581, 541 had the fastest lock time of any 22. Very popular with metallic silhouette shooters back in the '80s-'90s
