Finally got a Bell & Carlson medalist for my Remington 700. It's a old ADL that I frankensteined together in to a 7mm Rem Mag. Being an ADL Ihad to add a BDL style floor plate. I went with the PTG standard black anodized aluminum floor plate. I was not aware that the ADL magazine box is different than the BDL style so a little trimming with a hacksaw and file was needed. Also the front action screw of my old ADL stock is about 1/4" shorter than needed so I borrowed one from my SPS stock and it came together just fine. There was a slight bump of material in the barrel channel I had to remove and then a number of spots had to be relieved to fit the Remington magnum contour. I was well aware that the Mag barrel would not fit. Few minutes with a file and sandpaper was easy work. In the end I think it looks and feels awesome. Can't wait to shoot it.

Tight spot about 1" ahead of the reciever:

PTG bottom was flawless:
