I have a bunch of old ammo that I want to remove the bullets, and discard the powder. Is decapping and re-using these spent primers a possibility? Thank you in advance for any info.

Yes…the key here is to do it safely.I use heavy welding gloves ear plugs and eye pro with safety shield.If still interested let me know.

I would imagine that a slow deliberate stroke with the decapping die will push them out safely. I just wasn't sure if they can be re-seated in a different case then fired.
Slow ,light ,constant pressure for sure also remove each primer from the immediate area as you go ,I also remove all other powder and primers from my area.
