I am not totally sure, but I understand Fish and Game had closed that area off in 2019. When I am archery hunt I carry bear spray, and a 4" 500 Smith. Longer barrels just get in your way. That area held a lot of moose and elk a long time back. Over hunting allowing any sex elk to be hunted in the later part of the hunting season, and wolfs has about clean the area out. I had hunted that area several years back before and just after the first grizzly was introduced their. The cowboys told us about being ran out of the timber in one area due to a grizzly there. Fish and Game has totally screwed up the elk and moose hunting in Montana due to no-wolf-hunting for years. Presently I don't understand why moose hunting is still allowed in Montana. I am thinking of stop buying points every year, because almost no tags being let out. (I wonder why?) The wolfs need to be gone or kept on Yellow Stone National Park area. sss Mike
