Who is this mysterious author? I cannot find anything about him (not talking about the site - https://www.rathcoombe.net/sci-tech/ballistics/wounding.html#introduction) from any empirical sources, not even Google or Google Scholar.

I find this post from another forum amusing, though, https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/shooting-holes-in-wounding-theories.819316/If you take much of his link away down to this https://www.rathcoombe.net/ you'll see that there is really no person to link to his studies. could be a fictional character for all we know. I think I looked into him a decade or two ago. decided if it was that difficult to nail down who he or she was then not worth my time.
