I've done the pigs and deer off feeders from stands. Sub 250 pound feral pigs using 3200 fps 100 gr .243 Hornandy spbt's classic heart lung shots causes blow throughs unless you hit ribs on both sides out to 300 and they manage to run about 50 - 100 feet before piling up. It is the same for my .277 using 150 spbts. although I can get two with one bullet when they are side by side eating. Texas boys use ultra mags to see how many they can get on long trough feeders. Head shots are the DRT.

.243 is all about shot placement to not loose game.
