I bought these a long time ago to do a build that never happened. It's a Para-Ordnance reciever with 2 hi cap mags, designated as 38 Super. Hi cap is ,I think, 20 rounds. The slide is a Caspian carbon steel without sight cuts. Both are "new". I know the mags will take 10mm and 38 super, but not sure if 9mm will work. These are for building a first class pistol. You will need a barrel, sight cuts, sights, fitting and I don't know what else. I did have one built when I bought this set and it's in 38 super. Amazing piece! With the right pistolsmith you will get another amazing hi cap pistol. because it's a frame, i will have to mail to an FFL holder.

10mm and 38 Super are different diameter cases. Which rim diameter is the breach face cut for?

The barrel doesn't matter at this point. I'm wondering what the breach face in the slide was cut for? A 9mm rim? A 38 Super rim? A 40 S&W rim? A 45 ACP rim?

38 super should be same face/rim diam as 9mm

10/40/357
45acp would be a different size face/extractor/ejector

Here is a screen shot from Caspian web page

Agreed. I just wanted to see. I was told it could be used for another cal. But so long ago, I don't remember which one. It definitely is for 38 super so I can only speculate the breach is cut for it.

Price reduction.. $400. I had one made a long time ago and still have it. It's frickin awesome! Someone should put these parts to good use.

If the breech is the same as 9mm it will be 38 Super Comp/TJ, 38 Super is rimmed and larger diameter. But this is a good thing, the 38SC brass is easier to get, runs smoother too. $400 is a solid deal for sure, if I didn't have plenty of parts I would snatch this up pronto.

Just to show you I wasn't fibbing about owning a custom pistol using these parts. Blake Gann in N.C. built it for me many, many years ago. Sadly, his son wanted to race motorcycles so Blake, being the fine Dad he was(?) left pistols and started making motorcycles for his son. Son went on to win many a race! We lost a great pistolsmith, but not b4 I got several of his wonders !
