Even from the short barrel, this beats 30-06 from a 24" tube.

You mention suppressed.....i can't see muzzle threads so assuming has a thread protector? Also round count please....thanks. Sending this to a buddy who is looking for a short range hunting rig pretty sure he still has his Origin SA.

Correct, it's threaded 5/8x24 with a blended thread protector.

It's always fun to get out and shoot a project rifle and see if it meets your expectations. For this one I focused on keeping it short while trying not to sacrifice energy on target. Primary role is to hunt deer and hogs from a blind. It will also be for shooting steel out to ~1000 yards on...
