I really have to weigh in on this one. Blaser R8 Safari Package in .338 Win Mag. topped with Swarovski Z6i 4.5-14. Perfect for all north ameraicn game in a package just shy of 11 lbs. The straight pull bolts allow for a rapid follow-up even on dangerous game. I knocked my trophy bull elk off his feet at 187 yards. If that caliber is too light for your tastes, you can simply buy an extra barrel, move the scope over, re-zero, and you back in the game. The .338 Win Mag can be bought just about anywhere and has tremendous reloading potential.
