Getting out of the intermediate range business. This gun has only been tested to 750 yards and is scarily accurate. I would rate it as 99%, but I am biased. It looks brand new.
- Dakota Arms built Classic Model 76 in 7mm Dakota
- Obeche Laminate stock (stable like a plastic stock, easy on the eyes like walnut)
- 26" stainless barrel, Super Mag Sporter contour (.7 at muzzle), 1:10 twist (I have shot 140, 150, and 160 grain bullets out of it)
- 73 rounds down the tube
- Nightforce 3.5-15x50 scope with NP-1 reticle with scope cover
- 11.4 pounds all up
- NIB 7mm Dakota dies and shellholder
- Box of 160 Northfork rounds from Dakota
- 3+ boxes of once-fired brass
- Two Harris bipods: a new HBRS model and the other a like-new HB25S model
- New box of 168 grain Berger Match Grade Classic Hunter bullets
- Gun will be shipped to your FFL in a hard case via UPS, fully insured.

I always appreciate a sense of humor No, it certainly isn't free, but my "price" is trumped by what someone is willing to pay for it. Where do you stand?

Very nice setup that someone will be thrilled to own. It is common practice, though, for a seller to get the ball rolling with an asking price when posting an item for sale.

Understood and appreciated. I have been offered $5k, but with a contingency that tempers the deal, thus it is still on the market. Does that get the ball rolling? I am all ears and very open-minded. Much obliged for your guidance.

Just to be clear, the $5k offer was VERY TENTATIVE pending final decision on his part after further review of additional pictures & thinking about it AND agreement on the contingencies on my side. There is no "done deal" and now I'm shopping for something better. Hence, the rifle is still on the market and up for discussion.

HEB, when was this gun built, and are you the original owner? I bought a Md. 97 in 300 WM last fall, great rifle.

I am the original owner and had it built in 2003. It is a wonderful rifle, I simply don't shoot it anymore. I had a Model 97 in 330 Dakota that, other than this gun, was probably the most accurate rifle I've owned.

As a follow up, the contingency offer is not going to work for me so I would gladly ship this entire package to the first offer of $4100.
