Gen 1 is a slightly used .30 cal 5/8-24 with less than 10rds thru it, never even moved from the zero setting. Tapered from the body diameter of 1.1" to the shoulder of .930" and weighs approximately 7.4oz

Next Gen is a brand new 6.5 cal 5/8-24. The Next Gen has the same body diameter and shoulder taper as the Gen but it weighs in at approximately 6.9oz even with the bulkier looking tuner. Purchased this new in May
