I joined LRH a few months ago but never post about myself, if anyone cares?
I live in GODS country, NW Montana, elk, deer, bear, mountain lion, turkeys, moose , right out my back door, but I don't hunt them, that is young man hunting. I go old man hunting. When you shoot it you drive up to it and load it in the truck, I go to eastern Montana about 600 miles east of were I live for
antelope . flat land not mountains. I shoot a 7mm Gibbs with a 30" Shilen match grade Bbl. with 3x9 Zeiss. I just had a 6.5mm STW made with a 30 " Lilja 8 twist 3 groove ss bbl. Just now working up a load for 140gr. first three clocked at 3475 fps with 82grs. H870 and they made a nice clover leaf, still have a lot of work to do to get it right.

I'm new to this forum too. While I live most of the year in NE PA, I love the west, especially WY, and the opportunities there to see game at ranges over 200 yards. I'm looking forward to reading the reports, answers to questions, and the online friendships that seem to exist.
