Finally had to register. I've been coming here for quite awhile after building a 6.5 Grendel AR and decided it was time to join the forum. I leave for a mule deer hunt in Colorado in 37 days and plan to leave the 270 in the gun safe and take my Grendel. I will be posting a couple more threads soon to ask a few questions on long range hunting to see if I can get some advice.

Welcome to LRH. I shot a Tac match one time with a fella that was running a Grendel AR rig. You go thru the course in groups of two, I was running my 6mm Competition Match boltgun. I out shot him, but he shot that Grendel real well. Under time moving fast and at longrange, he got a big thumbs up from me.gun)Good luck on your hunt, let us know how it goes.
