Hey everyone. I'm new here. Born and raised in south Louisiana, a true Cajun. Spent most of my life hunting in the Atchafalaya Basin, so, to me, long range is 100 yards! Honestly, I know very little about long range hunting or shooting, and always striving to learn more. The little I do know about long range I have learned in the Texas Hill Country (if that qualifies as "long range"). There, I made a 350 yard shoulder shot. That's it. Before or since then, never more than 100 yards, and always with my Remington 700 .270. So, I'm here to learn, and I look forward to chatting with you folks.
If my name intrigues anyone, I lost my hearing at two years old, and have been deaf since. The "CHL" part simply means "concealed handgun license".
