Recently came across the forum when doing some web searches regarding custom builds. Longest animal taken to date is whitetail at 100 yards. Have never thought about stretching the range to far until recently. Even if I am not able to get out and do longer range hunts I am still interested in shooting paper at range. I hope to one day have that custom rifle but for now I am more than happy to be out hunting with the 30-06.
