Hello,
I just purchased a savage 10FCP-K and should be picking it up soon. I also ordered the Vortex Viper HS Long Range 4-16x50 scope to set on top. Still need a mounting setup, so any ideas are welcome. I do plan to start reloading as well, from what I hear thats the best way to really reach out and remain accurate. I have hunted the last 20+ years and have been in situations where, if I had the tools, could have shot large deer that were beyond my comfort level with the equipment I was using. I never wanted to shoot more than once out of respect for the animal, so I let those shots go unfired. Time for a change though!
