Today's picture at Mike's 100 yard range, he has 200 yard range as well in his backyard, but did not use it. We were just interested in getting rough zero before we embark on a 8 hour drive back.. Boresighted, fired a round, gross adjustment, fried a round. Then adjust for the middle, fired 3 rounds. Cooled down handed the rifle to my friend, adjusted for center. He fired one round on another target. Total of 6 rounds from FGMM 190 SMKs, no cleaning. Set the zero stop and packed. It was a great trip Now, back at the house. The finished rifle is awesone, a truly custom with all the right components done by one of the best benchrest gunsmiths in the country. Plus, it appears it wants to shoot. However, I am not sure whether my handloads can best the FGMM. It will be another journey for this trigger monkey as he aspires to be a hunter and learn more about the game he intends to harvest.
