[QUOTE="barefooter56, post: 1019554, member: 85389"] Varmint Hunter, Your 1-11" twist may not be enough. 1-10" is the MINIMUM twist rate we suggest for this bullet. But velocity may get you over the line. Loads are : RL22- 73.0-81.3 89%FILL RATIO RL25 75.5-84.0 94%FILL RATIO 7828SSC 73.0-81.3 88% FILL RATIO RETUMBO 81.0-90.2 100% FILL RATIO (compressed load) H1000 78.0 - 86.5 97% FILL RATIO. Hybrids are very tolerant of jump so we suggest you start at .015 off the lands and work back in .015 increments at the lowest powder charge listed for the bullet/powder/cartridge combination you are testing. Be advised that this is a long bullet and probably will not be able to be seated to magazine length. An aftermarket longer magazine box installed MAY help with this depending on where your sweet spot is as far as seating depth is concerned. Work your load up in 1/2 grain increments till you get 2 grains BELOW MAXIMUM then drop to 1/10th grain increments. Check for pressure signs and accuracy all the way up. Hope this helps!
