I’ve got a 264 win mag that I brought to be a “new custom”. It has a 28” brux 8 twist with a brake on it. I’ve tried 127 Barnes , 130 accubonds, & 140 bergers. I’ve worked the bergers up as well as bought 20 from Copper Creek.I’ve yet to find anything this gun will shoot to the standards I think it should. I talked to the guy that built the gun to see if he had any recommendations. That’s when I found out that barrel had previously been on someone else gun & after 25 shots they decided to go another route. I just bought some 147 elds for it & I’m considering getting some 156 bergers. If I can’t find a load I like soon I’ll be trashing the brux. The gunsmith that built it also built my 7 mm mag with a 26” Bartlein 9 twist. I have a 264 win mag model 70 from 1979 that I don’t bother loading for because it shoots factory nosler 130 accubonds in the 0.6-0.7 range @ 200 yards.
