I'm a new member to Long Range Hunting, I've been hunting and reloading for many years but I'm still learning. I just got my first custom a 7MM STW built with a 24" Krieger Barrel with a 1 X 8.5 twist, a Bell and Carlson stock, Montana 99 Action, Huskemaw 5X20 Blue Diamond, 20 moa picatinny base. I've got her broken in and found a load she likes which is Nosler 168 gr. Accubond LR behind 79.1 gr. of Retumo. She'll shoot under 1 inch groups at 200 yards all day long. My average velocity at 15 feet is 3031 with an ES of 55 and a SD of 21. My question is are those numbers good enough to take me out to 800 yards on deer sized animals or could I be doing something with my reloads to tighten things up?
