Hey guys,

Here is my Remington 700 ADL bolt 223, with a 26" barrel and 9"-13" bipod. My scope is a Bushnell trophy 4x12 /40 mm. Other than mounting my scope and bipod, I haven't done any more customized work yet on this rifle. It groups very well at 100 yards so I'm happy. Does great much further out too. Great for long bench shots and especially hogs!

Keep It Simple Stupid is not a bad philosophy to follow. I like it. Post some targets for us.

My best benchrest group yet at 200 yards with my Remington model 700 bolt 223 w/ 24" barrel.

All stock other than my bipod and scope. Until I upgrade to a higher-end spotting scope, I can't clearly see my groups beyond 200 yds., lol

This scope is my Bushnell 4x12x40mm. gun)

Hi there

I used factory Federal 55 grain FMJ's. gun)

I don't like FMJs. I use them in my ARs and then when I upgrade to a vmax or the federal v-shock my groups shrink by about an inch. Which one is your group? I cant tell from the photo where one stops and one ends. That's still pretty **** good with FMJ and a stock rifle. Thanks for the updates.

Thanks.
My group was a 3.5" group at 200 yards. Next trip to the range I'm going go on a less windy day, and try some federal gold metal match 69 grain hp. Heard those have tighter and more consistent groups.
Then its on to 300 yds. I want to feel confident at 200, both bench and prone, using my bipod, before graduating up lightbulb
