My two youngest girls have recently gotten the fishing bug! If you want to test your skills as an angler, no need to fish tournaments. Instead take 3 kids ranging from 3-8 years old out at the same time. Everything thing from crossed lines, snags, rats nests, lines needing re tied, minnows needing rigged, and smiles at the end!

I guided for winter steelhead 18 years...
Try getting 2 old guys with poor eyesight to cast straight.......or 2 people that have never fished to remember from cast to cast of how to operate the spinreel....
Let alone 2 people with 2 steelhead on....chaos is lightly used here....
But it sure was fun.....just got back...now I'm the one crossing lines......and once I cast..handed rod to older guy took his tangled up mess..2 seconds later he is fighting a 10# steelhead......IMG_4054.jpg
I'm holding the steehead....it's only 32 miles from pacific ocean....

Roosevelt lake?

Or come to Michigan in the spring. Lol
I always thought it would be cool to fish for Midwest Steelhead. My dad ran a charter guide service on Erie for smallmouth and Walleye back in the day, and he used to fish for Steelhead in Rocky river in the winter. Always wanted to hook up with a double digit on light equipment and chase it up and down river.
