Montana 99 x2 rifle bought here and only test fired. Someone had an untimed brake on it so I sent to Total Precision Rifleworks to have threads cut off and crowned. I was told it's a Douglas barrel but no way to prove it. I test fired it at 100 yards and had no problem hitting 1/2-3/4 " fireform groups. I bought to rebarrel but not enough time to play with all my projects.

Whoops sorry if I forgot to post chambering. Correct 250 savage improved chambering. I bought it for the action and stock but I'll never realistically get to it.

I still kinda miss my X2, very accurate. Medically forced into lefty shooting or this would be interesting.
