Do you have the CS stock? And is that a chip out of the forend on the walnut stock or optical illusion?

It's not a chip just wear, the ebony finish coating has wore a little there. I have the Mcmillian on another rifle.

The wood looked much better on the black finish. The McMillan looked better on a stainless finish
