Wait till you see the shorty stock I'm making for my boys. It will hold the action and bbl from our single shot Marlin Li'l Buckaroo. I'm making it from a chunk of straight grained black walnut. Should fit the 6 year old nicely. I'm hoping to have it ready by early spring.
