Marlin 1895 45-70 Trapper

Like new Marlin Trapper 1895 45-70. Has 16" barrel threaded 11/16x24. This is the new model made by Ruger. It has Chisel machine stock,Midwest handguard, ranger point safety delete and ranger point trigger. Has been fired less than 30 times. There are a few light scratches on the receiver flat side where a bolt handle hit it in the safe. You can see them if you zoom in on the pictures. I have the original wood and parts that will go with the gun. $1800 shipped to FFL

How bad is the recoil on a short 45/70?

I had a suppressor on it when I shot it. I know that helps with recoil, but it wasn't bad. I would put it up there with like a light weight 20ga shotgun.
