Net is an ego crusher! I get the goal thing , but man, that's a beast of a buck ! Congrats and hang in there, you're gonna gettum . Different animal up where you are compared to the southern U.S.. Funny store about one of my friends trip to Canada . He was on his first hunt up in your neck of the woods and had decided to hold out for at least a 150 . On his first morning he saw a buck that he guessed would be borderline 150 gross, but since it was the first day he passed on him. For 3 of 4 days he saw that buck, and it got easier to let him pass, but on day 5 he got worried he wouldn't get to take a Canadian monster home . He decided that if the borderline buck showed, he would take him. Sure enough, the buck showed , the shot was good . Guide showed up after the shot and they went to check out the respectable 10 pt. As they walked up on this animal, Jeffery started to realize how much he had misjudged the near 400lbs buck. On 3 different days , he had passed on a 186" B&C net 10pt ! We get ground shrinkage when he walk up on our deer, your great northern bucks ground swell !
