Question: I'm building a 300WM and needing to know if a factory 700 Rem. 300RUM Magazine will fit a factory 700 Rem long action. The idea is the RUM box is about .283 longer than the standard factory 300 WM box. I'm planning to run the Berger 215 hybrid and might need or want the extra length the RUM bottom metal will offer.
Am I out in the weeds on this one?
