I have an M40a1 replica that will be done in a few weeks though I would gauge interest. Got the parts pretty cheap so am selling to make a little.
1963 model 700 action clip slotted in rear all original. I called Remington with 6 digit serial # and they said it was a 63model.
Schneider M40 barrel. Exact spec used on m40a1, 24" from front of recoil lug
McMillan m40 stock , was purchased as a flat top and I Inletted it myself. I also bedded the action myself, turned out good, bedded 1" in front of lug just like the ones I have seen. Ordered original brown and black pachmyar pad from iron bergade armory should be in shortly. Bolt has old style shroud. And has old style trigger with large flat button safety.
Will be cerakoted black. Bottom metal is ptg with heavy duty guard screws, all cerakoted black. Bottom metal is bedded in.
