I just re-barreled my Weatherby Mark V 9-lug Accumark (former 300 Wthby Mag) to a Carbon Six 26" Bull-profile (1") 300 PRC chambered barrel. Going from the pencil profile of Weatherby to the 1" barrel profile eliminates any/all of Weatherby's offerings.
I am seeking your recommendations on anyone who produces a Chassis or "Tactical-cut" stock (e.g. McMillan A6, A4 etc.) with rear lower stock heal profile with cutback for wrapping tight into the stock and utilizing weak hand wedged into the hook/cut-out. I've looked into Richards Microfit laminated stocks as they have the Mark V action inletting as an option, but I do not like their quality overall and their BBB rating is a 2...so from what I can tell, not a good option as a producer/supplier.
Any ideas folks(?) - my searches are coming up dry...
