Looking for a good condition scope to put on a deer rifle. I've been thinking a Sightron SII with hunter holdover reticle. Preferably a 3x9. Would entertain other brands

Personally I wouldn't shoot anything below an SII big sky. I have a 3.5-10x42 big sky for sale w/ a duplex reticle, but you can dial in vs hold overs.

Budget is usually a good starting point, then get the most scope you can per factor #1.

Big skys are great scopes IMHO. I have 4. Saw this today:
