Was it an FZ serial Lone Peak. Wondering will it fit an Impact?

It is chambered for a FZ action, and will fit/headspace….

BUT not without deepening the bolt cone mortise. There is a .050" difference in specs there between the two actions. So a barrel chambered for an Impact will plug and play on a LP without any mod, but not the other way around. I've done the work on a few LP barrels to get them to go on my Impacts and all have been GTG…just another little bit of money.
