The reason I ask is because you are wanting to use the 180 gr berger vld's. From my understanding and all of the reloaders I've talked to, tend to use the imr 4350 on lighter bullets (like 160 gr and down on the 7mm). On the heavier bullets (over 160 gr) they prefer to use something like H1000. Someone with more experience than I can probably lend better info than me on the subject though. I'm in the process of getting a something worked up for my 7mm as well. I'm currently using: Rem Brass WLMR Primers H1000 powder 168 gr Berger VLD's Shooting out of a Savage 7mm Rem Mag 111 Trophy Hunter XP I am loading all of my bullets to the lands (or at least until I can find my max powder load). I was going to go find my max load this weekend, but due to me forgeting to lube a case, I now have a stuck case in my sizing die. The good news is that I finally decided to replace my die set with a RCBS Competition Die Set. Should be here tomorrow. Then I can get back at it. I'll share my results when I get some.
