This rifle was built by Horizon Firearms in College Station, Tx. I traded for this rifle from the original owner, in hopes that my wife would like it. Turns out she's spoiled to shooting my AR, and isn't interested in keeping it for herself. I've had Horizon build a rifle for me, and it was excellent. They make great guns, and this one is no exception. This is an opportunity to get an excellent hunting rifle at a great price.
Trued 700 bedded in a HS Precision stock. Benchmark fluted barrel, threaded 5/8x24 with thread protector. 23" measured from the front of the recoil lug. Sporter weight barrel profile (.68" @ muzzle), rifle is nice and light. BDL bottom metal and barreled action Cerakoted od green and tan. Jewell trigger. 100 rounds down the tube. It shoots FGMM 175's at 1/2 moa. Rifle is located in the Houston, Tx area. I'm willing to travel a little piece for a face-to-face transfer as well, or ship to your FFL. $1,300+shippping.
Scope is a SWFA 16X42 in mil, properly torqued in a set of Vortex branded Seekins precision rings. It can be left on the rifle for an additional $350.
Would be willing to trade for some quality optics + cash as applicable-
1. illuminated Bushnell LRHS, LRTS, or DMRII
2. Nightforce NXS 3.5-15 or 5.5-22
