Looking to part with my LH Rem 700 chambered in 6.5 stw.. Barrel is a fluted 3 grove 1-9 twist Pac Nor finished at 28 inches.
(Full disclosure).. **this barrel can be very finicky and overpressures very easily with top end loads.. With that said it has shot some great groups at distance.
Approx. 350- 375 rounds down the tube.
Barrel loved 140 SMK and Wc-870.
I became frustrated that I could not stabilize The 160 matrix/ 130 gr cutting edge bullets where so I purchased a 1/8 twist to do so.
I no longer need two 6.5's so I'm parting with this set up.
Action has had the following :
Rem trigger
Bolt fluted & knob installed by HD Rifles
HD rifles "bolt handle fix" Torx screws to bolt body
Bolt handled skeletonize by Kampfield
Sako extractor installed by Kampfield
Gre-tan firing pin hole bushing with matching reduced fluted stainless pin.
Action opened to accept seeking detachable bottom metal or extended box mag.
Action and bolt coated by Robar NP3 plus.
Price includes redding 6.5 STW 2 die set, a set of Tac Ops two piece 30 moa bases, a Lh stocky's long range laminate stock(set for seeking DBM), and 150 141 grain Bob Cauterucio bullets for the above price.
