I am looking at The VX-L 4.5-14x56 with the boone and crockett reticle to place on a Christensen Carbon Extreme 300wsm. My thought process being to place the scope as close to the bore as possible, to help maintain a good cheek position. Would appreciate any thoughts on this. Found this site after purchasing the gun or I might have had one assembled. Thanks in advance.
