[QUOTE="Jeff In TX, post: 255437, member: 1522"] Mike, Never any issues between us. I feel as well as many others that Leupold believes that being the biggest is being the best. There has been no real innovation coming from them in years but gimmicks and huge price increases. You want 1/10 mil turret as well as many other shooters, Leupold won’t even consider adding it, so the tactical shooters goes else where. When I had a canted reticle and my scope tracked .20 moa instead of .25 moa and I couldn’t get them to fix it because it was within their specs I gave up. That’s poor CS. Almost $1300 for scope that I couldn’t get fixed, so I sold them! When I got my first US Optics scope it came with wrong reticle. A call to John Williams III and he said it would be 4 weeks until they could ship me a new scope due to a military contract they had to finish. However, in the mean time use the snot out of the one I had. He also said don’t worry about abuse or ring marks. He apologized and a little less than a month later my new scope arrived. That’s fantastic CS. I’ve heard from many sources that Leupold’s wasn’t viewed well at this years 09 SHOT show. No real innovation, just the old VX-III repackaged and renamed the VX-3 but large price increases. Here’s Scott Berish’s of Liberty Optic’s review of most of the scope manufactures at this SHOT show. Leupold is on day two of his blog and even though he reps Leupold he pulled no punches and gave an honest assessment Leupold which I’m sure they’re not happy with. Sometimes the truth hurts.
