I ranged a bull elk at 1200 with mine in the afternoon. I don't get chances like that much being from Florida. I have very consistent ranges on good targets at 800 yrds but that is about as far as I can go here

Same here. I'm in AL and bought for a couple trips out west. Haven't had very many opportunities to stretch it out, but do have one spot where I can range to 700 and it does well.
