'Best use' would be classified as mid-season for Western hunts, while adding a baselayer would extend the season of best use. Double cargo pockets add convenience and organization of quick-access items. Hip vents improve breathability when needed. All pockets are zippered for improved protection of contents. The built-in knee pad will mold to the knee and provide protection that's noticeable only when you need it.
