Free bump for a great rifle. If I was not trying to reduce my flock I would be adding this one tot he herd.

pull the goo out of the stock and reduce the weight by about 7oz, add 1oz of plastic grocery bags to deaden the hollow sound and you've got a real ultralight for under 1k. I've been wanting this exact rifle, but am taking delivery and paying the remaining half on my latest custom next week, so its not in the cards. GLWS!

5lb-7oz on kimbers site. 5lbs even'ish if you pull the goo out of the stock and grip cap.

i had a hunter in 280ai and its weight was dead on with kimber's site.

I typically use crayola molding foam/puddy, but the goo in this one actually works pretty good. I don't get the hollow sound or feel.

This is the lightest gun I've owned. With 2-10 VX5HD rings and bases, loaded was 6.5lbs.
