Those that have used this how did you like it? I will be using it in
.223 .243 and .308 It's all the nearest gun shop had because of all the hoarding going on. I will be loading for a 15" barrel striker (.243 & .308) . The .223 is for a 16" barrel Kel tac SU16 "C" rifle. thank you in advance,
Rupe

I bought a bunch of older bullets at an auction last year and have several different manf. bullets.
I can't fine load data for 100 gr. Hornady spire points in .243win. Because I live off grid and don't have a regular PC I use my.cell phone to get on line and tbere are things that you just can't ring up on it. So finding load data is slim. My reloading manuals are somewhere packed away and I can find them, but they wouldn't have imr 8208 xbr in them any ways. So could anyone give me a little help? Thank you,
Rupe

I reload with 8208 almost all the time. Each week year around. It is the only
powder I will use for my 7-08 Striker and custom Savage 08. My best for the
Striker is 36 grains with Sierra 140's. The Berger 140's are more consistent
but twice the price. I load 40 grains for my rifle and have shot them in my striker. 8208 is not affected by temperature. Start light, work up and be safe.

8208 is great!!

Thank you for the info. I WILL try it and work up slowly. I have been reading good things about it but reallu needed someone to step up and tell me.
Have you tried it behind a Honady 100 gr. spire point in .243 win. ? Thanks again!

No sorry to say. I load handgun ammo and only 7-08 for a custom rifle.
good luck.

Remember temperature does NOT affect 8208.
