This is a complete system to Electrochemical etch barrels, receivers, dies, and anything else that needs a permanent marking. I used this one time to mark a barrel. I don't have the need for it any longer as my good friend just spent $20k on a laser system, so I have him laser my needs. This is one of the best electrochemical etching systems on the market. I did a good bit of research prior to making this purchase.
