Idaho unit 54 mule deer late?

Hey drew what I thought to be a good tag this year. Born and raised in idaho and sad to say but have only been in 54 for turkey hunting when i was younger. I have been doing a lot of research and going over a lot of maps/terrain. Just looking for any info on the late mule deer season. If you want to share some insight please send me a pm or reply. Looking to finally find a trophy mule deer. Never shot anything over 150 would like to try and accomplish that this year.

Congratulations on the draw. I can't help you but I'm a little jelly. I spent 1k$ on draws for my self and kids and only got a depration doe xtra.

So enjoy the opportunity while you have it. I'd get there a day or two before for sure. Id find likely spots and be standing near by at first lite. It seems the big ones in those we'll accessed areas dont linger longer til November.
