JD I can only speak for the Hart Barrel. A friend of mine has a barreled action that belonged to a member of LRH. It's a 700 action with a Hart heavy 4" straight from receiver with a straight taper to .950 (26"). It has a .340 neck chamber B.O. Metal with Robar finish. I just recently bedded it into an H.S tactical stock. It shoots better than it looks. He shoots factory ammo (B.H. or Federal) all shoots very well. The B.H. 175's shoot the best. The last time out dead calm no wind we both shot several groups around 1/2" at 200 yards. The Pact Crony also showed B.H. to be the most consistent ammo I've seen out of a box!! The 340 neck had a hard time with a batch of federal ammo that had a slight outside neck burr.
