Was it bedded to the action?

Yes it was bedded but with a different 700 action of mine, not the action in the pic, with a .250 lug. Some of the bedding has chipped away and could be re-done for esthetic purposes. It shot well enough so I left it alone.

Edit: just forward of recoil lung area was clearanced for a remage nut. Could easily be filled back in.
