Well, having nothing better to do I ordered some of Hornady's quick change die bushings for my Rockchucker. Now...Do I just have to muscle the die insert already on the press off? Already tried a bit and it won't budge. Is it left/right hand thread?

It's a normal right hand thread but the bushing is usually very tight . An impact wrench with a good fitting socket is usually required so you don't burr the bushing up using a crescent . The older models had a thicker better formed hex on the bushing and it was easier to get out . Take it down to your local body shop or mechanic and get them to take it out .
Why they make them so tight is a mystery .
