It is 1.345" long so at sea level in 9" twist it would have a stability factor of 1.19sg. That is low enough that it would probably not print round holes in the target. 8" twist will give it 1.51sg which is perfect for good hunting performance. https://hammerbullets.com/product/257-cal-103-g-hammer-hunter/ This bullet is designed for the 9" twist at sea level. I know it is not as heavy as you would like to see but the twist rate just kills the ability to make them heavier. The smaller the bore dia the faster the twist needs to be relative to bullet weight. The factory twist 25's are more hamstrung by twist than any other caliber with their 10" twist. There are some smiths that think putting faster twist on is bad. I had a customer the other day whos smith told him it was a bad idea to go faster than 10" on his new 25cal build. Any of you guys thinking about re-barreling should consider a 7" twist. That would be relative to an 8" twist in the 6.5's. Steve
