Just a newbie from So Utah. New 6.5-284 Savage 111LRH/Huskemaw on top. Rem 257 Wetherby/Vortex 5-20 on top. Savage 12lp 22-250/sightron 6.5-20 on top. Just trying to get them to shoot way out there. Having tons of fun and learning alot. Like many, I've shot all my life and the long range thing sounds interesting.
Been into archery pretty heavily for the last 20 years but am ready to learn how to reach out there and touch something. Even if it's a can full of Pepsi. My kids love it too.
My wife beat me to the punch this year on the long range thing. Killed a cute little 4x4 on the general hunt with the 257 at 550. Our first pre-meditated long range success. It was great.
