Hello,
First post here but have been reading on this forum for a good while. My main focus now is a long range capable rifle project for the hunting I do in Montana where I normally spend 1 month/year plus. I'm comfortable with our current rifles out to the 400 yd mark but want something for the times we need to stretch out to 1000 for antelope, Whitetails/Muleys and Elk. After a good bit of study I have decided to try the Savage 111 LRH in 300 Win Mag. All the parts and some bullets have arrived so am excited to continue this project at the range. Will post on the appropriate forum with follow ups.
